Holly Springs is located along the Southern Corridor of Wake County just past Apex. This area of town has exploded over the last several years as prices along the other cities continued to go up. Holly Springs tends to be more affordable than Apex, Cary, and other cities, but with the growth the prices are starting to get up there as well. Highway 55 cuts through the town and where most of the shopping is located. You can spend $200,000 for a small home and the average with be a little closer to $300,000. However you tend to get a little more home for your money so this could be draw for you. The population of Holly Springs is less than Apex, it doesn’t have that same small town feel. It’s a little more spread out. With the abundance of new homes being built this will definitely change.
Currently 540 ends in Holly Springs, but over the next several years it is planned to be finished. Once this is complete I think it will cause this entire area to grow very quickly. You will be able to get on 540 directly from 40 to help alleviate some of the traffic congestion. Holly Springs is a great place to live and so much to do.
